The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra may get a big performance boost

Exciting news is on the horizon for those considering the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, set to be announced and released early next year.According to leaker Ice Universe,Samsung’s upcoming flagship phone will boast a substantial RAM upgrade. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature 16GB of RAM,a significant increase from the 12GB found in the current Galaxy S24 Ultra. This improvement is sure to enhance the device’s performance and multitasking capabilities.

However, the news isn’t all positive.Recently,Ice Universe also mentioned that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will retain the same battery and charging specifications as its predecessors, featuring a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. These specs have been standard for every Galaxy S Ultra model since the 2020 Galaxy S20 Ultra. While this might be seen as a letdown by those hoping for better battery performance,it’s worth noting that Galaxy S phones have consistently offered excellent battery life.

In terms of design, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumored to have thinner bezels compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, along with a flatter frame and more rounded corners. This could provide a sleeker and more modern look.Additionally,at least one model in the Galaxy S25 series is expected to feature new OLED technology, potentially enabling a fingerprint scanner that works anywhere on the screen.

Performance-wise,the Galaxy S25 models are anticipated to include Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, promising improved speed and efficiency.

Samsung is once again expected to unveil three new Galaxy S models in 2025:the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the more affordable Galaxy S25,and the Galaxy S25 Plus. These models are likely to be announced in January or February, with releases following shortly thereafter. This lineup aims to cater to a variety of preferences and budgets, continuing Samsung’s tradition of offering versatile and high-performance smartphones.
